GlobalPreferences -1 then logout of your user and back in. Open up Terminal and enter defaults write. It makes your mouse track at a consistent speed which helps aiming. Remove Mac OS Mouse Acceleration: This isn't really troubleshooting so much as what I do for gaming on the Mac (same as gamers do on PC). On my other machine it was very smooth in-game I could barely tell I was streaming (helps that I usually have a <20ms connect to Stadia), so this was very unusual. The mouse felt normal on desktop but in Chrome/Edge it was like dragging it through tar. After getting stuff installed, files transferred etc, I fired up Stadia and Destiny 2, but the input lag was godawful unplayable. My normal laptop (same as above, but 16" with better specs) needed repair so I have to use the machine above for awhile. Google Fiber connection (but using it over 5ghz wifi) The TLDR is that going into Stadia Performance settings and limiting it to 1080p magically fixed all the input lag I was seeing, but there's more details below.ΔΆ019 MacBook Pro 15" (w/ 2.6GHZ 6-core Intel i7, 32GB ram, Radeon Pro 560x 4GB chip) I had a do a little troubleshooting after swapping to a different machine this week, and figured it might worthwhile to share some troubleshooting tips for those running into similar issues.
